Jacob N. Phulusa
Jacob is the Study Coordinator on the Multilink project responsible for Malawi. The role is to drive effective communication with stakeholders across the sites, monitoring progress of Malawi sites in gaining milestones, ensuring that all the study procedures are carried out as per protocol and standard operating procedures and international good clinical practice guidelines.
Previously Jacob has worked on CRYPOFAZ Clinical Research Associate /Trial Coordinator (MLW), Senior Research Program Manager ( UNC) Study Coordinator of many research studies ( ACTA study , S4 study, Third ART study, TB study, Assessment of the difference of Neurocognitive Function between HIV negative &positive) Clinical coordinator (Sexual Transmitted infection/ HIV) Kamuzu College of Nursing Clinic.
Jacob has a Masters in Public Health (BRAC University (James Grant School of Public Health, Bangladesh) Diploma in Clinical Medicine. Certificate in operational research (USA), Principles of Sexual transmitted disease (USA), GCP, HSP, EAE reporting (Durban), Research Ethics and medical ART (Uganda), and is registered with Public Health Professionals, Medical Council of Malawi.
Jacob has over 13 years of demonstrated experience and expertise in public health and management of reproductive health programs both in the public service and international non-governmental organizations with good clinical trial research experience background.
