
Alice Rutta
Alice Rutta is a medical doctor who, prior to joining the multilink project as a study coordinator, has worked as a registrar in the emergency department at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC) in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Alice has a passion in research and has worked as a research assistant in a clinical human trial for COVID 19, attended different research and clinical trainings for COVID 19 and participated in developing a guideline for Home based care for patients with COVID 19.
Alice is also an alumni of Joseph University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with experience of clinical practices at Muhimbili National hospital and interning at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center where she has managed a number of patients with non-communicable conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disorders. Her interest in clinical research is laying towards making a difference in people’s lives through new methods of curing patients and working to combat increasingly prevalent issues such as multi morbidity.
